Betty Gross (bagnaturephotos) > (Yellowstone River) The Yellowstone River winds it's way through so many sections of the park. Everything from settings like this photo to the bottom of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. I'm sure it's part of the reason for the landscape.
Betty Gross (bagnaturephotos) > (Yellowstone River above the Lower Falls) Just a short drive down the road and the Yellowstone River that's at the bottom of the Canyon photo is back up to a level which makes it easily accessible to view and for fisherman to drop a line.
Betty Gross (bagnaturephotos) > (Yellowstone Greeter) At Wal-Mart you get the folks in the blue vest......in Yellowstone you get Buffalo - and lots and lots of buffalo - which will prove itself in a couple of photos that will follow.
Betty Gross (bagnaturephotos) > (Wild Ass in Road - Custer State Park) Did you know there was such a thing as a wild ass??? These are also surprisingly big animals, and brazen! They had no problem sticking their heads into an open car window! (Yes, I laughed so hard I lost that particular shot!)
Betty Gross (bagnaturephotos) > (Wide Open South Dakota) It's amazing how just a few hours away from where you live the landscape changes so dramatically. If you notice, there's a house near the trees in the back of the photo - it looks horribly small.....and that's because everything else is so large! They say everything is bigger in Texas.....I don't think they've cornered the market by any stretch!
Betty Gross (bagnaturephotos) > (White-tail Deer - Custer State Park) Custer State Park is just across the valley from Mt. Rushmore and should be added to your "to-do" list when visiting South Dakota. Tons of wildlife!
