This is a very different approach than I usually take when I have new photos. This trip was taken September 9th - 21st of 2006. It's an amazing trip I'd recommend to anyone that has the stamina to drive the nearly 5,000 miles it took from home! There are comments under most pictures that describe parts of our trip or the scenery contained in the photos. It was a long trip, so feel free to make our journey in several visits to my website.

(Mountain Bluebird) Otherwise known as the Western Bluebird. Birds are wary at best when it comes to putting up with photographers, and the fact that you can't see the blue doesn't bother me a bit - I got the shot!!
